Activity: Standing hip flexion



Fundamental exercise for single leg stability, which is important for almost all sports and activities. Focus on hip abductors and spinal stabilizers


Engage your spinal and pelvic stabilizers. Hold this muscle contraction while you slowly bring one knee up in front of your body

  • minimize any lateral movement
  • be sure pelvis stays level
  • don’t allow body to twist as you raise the kneed
