Activity: Rolling: quadriceps



A self myofascial release technique for the anterior aspect of the thigh or quadriceps muscle group.


  • start laying prone (face down) but propped up on the elbows
  • place a roller (foam or otherwise) underneath the front of one thigh with the same knee bent approx. 90 degrees
  • gently roll back and forth over the tight aspect of the quadriceps
