Activity: Ankle eversion



A basic exercise to strengthen eversion, or outwards turning, of the ankle/foot.


  • Start in a sitting position, either on the floor or on a chair
  • wrap an elastic resistance band around your forefoot with the other end of the loop affixed to something secure on the side of the inner foot
  • move your foot against the resistance by everting, or turning outwards
  • repeat as instructed
