Activity: Hip abduction: crook lying with resistance

Summary:

A resisted hip abductor strengthening floor exercise.

Description:

  • laying on your back, knees bent, feet flat on the floor
  • place a lop of resistance band around the lower thigh, just above the knees
  • keeping the spine and pelvis neutral, simply abduct the thighs (pull the knees apart)
  • then return to the starting position
  • repeat as instructed
