Activity: Posterior cuff stretch



Effective stretch for the posterior aspect of the shoulder capsule and rotator cuff


  • lean up against wall with the shoulder blade touching the wall
  • bring the arm (wall-side) up in front of your body
  • bend elbow and try to touch your opposite shoulder with your hand
  • you can add pressure to your elbow (wall-side) with the opposite hand to pull arm toward you and feel a stretch in the back of your shoulder
