Using a tennis or lacrosse ball against the wall or the floor, roll the targetted area against the ball with mild to moderate pressure.
Some areas that lend itself well to this type of myofascial rolling are the erector spinae in the back, posterior and lateral hip, the plantar fascia and the posterior shoulder.
