Activity: Calf raise



A basic calf and achilles strengthening exercise


  • start in a standing position, feet shoulder width apart
  • in a controlled manner, lift your heels off the floor, then return to your start position
  • repeat motion as directed
  • can progress this exercise by working through full range by standing off a step
  • can also progress to doing the exercise on one leg only
