Activity: Posterior sling: pulley



An upper body resistance exercise in a functional lunge position, focused on the posterior sling stabilizing muscles (opposite gluteus maximus and latissmus dorsi)


  • starting in a lunge position, holding on to a pulley with your arm reaching out in front, engage spinal stabilizers.
  • pull elbow down by your side with your elbow bent as you activate your glutes and rise up out of the lunge
