Activity: Hip adductor stretch: sitting



basic hip adductor (groin) stretch , which puts a slightly greater emphasis on the deeper or posterior adductor muscles


  • sitting on the floor, spine in a neutral position (ie: not flexed or slumped)
  • knees bent, soles of the feet touching each other
  • bring the knees downwards, towards the floor, until a comfortable stretch is felt
