Activity: Anterior sling: pulley



An upper body resistance exercise in a functional lunge position, focused on the anterior sling stabilizing muscles


  • standing in high lunge position, facing away from the pulley, pulley in the opposite hand to your forward foot (eg: L foot forward, pulley in R hand)
  • activate spinal stabilizers
  • with control, punch pulley forward without rotating trunk
